Since 1958 Sports Bowl has been a fixture on the Nevada community. Without the 31 and a half years of dedication from the Tillotson's to Nevada and the bowling community this opportunity for our family wouldn't have presented itself. As of October 31st, 2022 the legacy continues.
We would like to take a moment to introduce ourselves, we are Scott and Jessica Walkner the new proprietors of Sports Bowl. In 2019 we moved to Nevada from Minnesota and knew the best way to meet people was to join a bowling league. Through this we established new friends and relationships. Then in 2021 Scott's career relocated us back to Minnesota. Even though we weren't physically in Nevada, we still kept in contact and followed the Facebook page to stay up to date on community activities, especially the Nevada Community Rodeo.
Getting to know Keith and Mindy we shared our involvement with operating Bowling Pro Shops and Tournaments in Minnesota for the last 22 years. Through those conversations the talk of them retiring began and they said "you guys would do great in this town if you bought the bowling alley from us", we chuckled thinking that will never be possible for us. Low and behold a year and half later we are back in town and able to purchase Sports Bowl and let Keith and Mindy's retirement dream come true.
As a bowling family we look forward to serving you and building relationships at Sports Bowl and beyond. Without league bowlers the success of the bowling would not be possible.
